The RZ is the latest electrified vehicle in the Lexus lineup, which includes seven hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The RZ is the brand's first globally available, purpose-built battery-electric vehicle that brings a dynamic driving experience and distinctive design focused on performance.

Data shows 85% of one-way vehicle trips are 15 miles or less. A Lexus PHEV combines the benefits of all-electric driving during shorter trips like these with the peace of mind of a gas-powered engine during longer trips.
BATTERY ELECTRIC

Never fill up again. Powered by long-range battery packs, these fully electric vehicles deliver breathtaking acceleration, exhilarating all-wheel drive agility, and can be charged with a standard household GFCI outlet4 or installed higher-speed (Level 2) charger.

TECHNOLOGY
  • Lexus Driving Signature is reflected in the new Active Hydraulic Booster-G (AHB-G) braking system that works with the DIRECT4 system and RZ's regenerative motor capability to reduce vehicle speed while helping to improve vehicle posture.
  • A standard 14-inch high-definition touchscreen provides easy-to-use controls and clear information to the driver and front-seat passengers. 
  • Mark Levinson® Surround Sound system with 13-speakers tuned for the RZ's cabin, delivering high-quality audio
SAFETY
  • Included Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection - designed to help detect potential safety hazards such as nearby bicycles, motorcycles, or pedestrians near the vehicle.
  • An adaptive cruise control system intended for highway use that uses radar and camera technology to help keep the vehicle moving at a preset speed and distance, which works even in stop and go traffic.
  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist - designed to alert the driver when the vehicle is departing from traffic lane. The vehicle has gentle steering assist that will help correct the lane steering.
DESIGN
  • Lexus' identifiable spindle grille is replaced by the Lexus spindle body as introduced with the 2023 Lexus RX, showcasing a distinctive roof spoiler to suppress aerodynamic force. 
  • Roof, trunk and undercover are shaped to reduce aerodynamic drag allowing airflow to move smoothly across the vehicle
  • Interior layout benefits from a compact powertrain with a low platform and thoughtful wheel placement.
